Charlotte Cobras upset by Dallas Defenders 18 - 14

The Charlotte Cobras traveled to Dallas to play the Defenders on May 15th. The Cobras were met by gracious hosts and everyone was enjoying their Lone Star getaway until the 3rd quarter of Saturday's game. The Defenders stacked the box and kept one of the league's best running attacks in check. Their offense worked through mainly through the air converting on big plays which eventually led to scoring drives. The Cobras had opportunities in the 4th quarter to regain the lead, but failed to do so resulting in a 18-14 loss.

Dallas finished the season 4-0 in regular season contests and will travel to Phoenix to play in the NPSFL National Championship Game on Saturday, June 26th.
