Charlotte Cobras defeat Carolina Commanders 42 - 6

The Charlotte Cobras played their first contest of the 2010 Season against the Carolina Commanders, one of the latest additions to the NPSFL. The Carolina Commanders are based out of Charleston, South Carolina. The Cobras dominated the game, but really turned it on in the second half when they increased their lead by 29 points for a final score of 42 - 6.

Experience reigned supreme in this first of many contests that will be dubbed, The Carolina Classic. The Cobras are entering their fifth season in the league and have experienced humiliating failure and triumphant success. Through those lessons on and off the field, the Cobras have grown into a very competitive force in this league. 

The Commanders however are in their first year and will have to endure those growing pains just as the Cobras did.
