“There is no Impact without Contact”

The Charlotte Cobras is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a member of the National Public Safety Football League.  The NPSFL is a union of public safety agency football teams from throughout the United States, united to promote a positive self-image to the public by raising funds for charity through spirited competition.  NPSFL teams play full-contact football and follow NCAA rules.  Each team plays a four game league schedule every spring season.  Cobras Football is comprised of members of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Charlotte Fire Department, Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, Mecklenburg County EMS, Concord Police Department, Huntersville Police Department, Internal Revenue Service, Mint Hill Police Department and the Marshville Police Department.

Do You Have What it Takes to be a Charlotte Cobra??

If you have the will, desire and heart to be part of a competitive full-contact football team where the camaraderie is unparalleled, then the Charlotte Cobras is the team for you!  We are accepting players at all positions and skill levels.  NPSFL rules require all players to be sworn law enforcement, firefighter or medic personnel.  If you’re not interested in participating on the field, we also need trainers and other assistants to help out on game day.  So if you have any desire to be a part of Cobras Football, please contact us!
